4. Participant Responsibilities

4.1 Health and Medical Clearance

By taking part in Beyond Boundaries programmes or events, you confirm that:

  • You have consulted with a qualified medical professional before beginning any training programme or event

  • You are physically capable of completing the activities involved

  • You have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns

  • You will update your run leader or event organiser if your health status changes

  • You understand that run leaders and organisers are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice

4.2 Honesty and Communication

Participants agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about fitness, running history, and goals

  • Communicate openly about progress or difficulties

  • Follow guidance as provided or discuss any adjustments needed

  • Report any pain, injury, or adverse effects from training as soon as possible

  • Inform event organisers of any medical conditions relevant to participation

4.3 Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own safety during all training and events

  • You will assess conditions (weather, terrain, visibility) and act appropriately

Beyond Boundaries, its run leaders, event organisers, volunteers, and affiliated persons or organisations accept no liability for:

Stop exercising immediately and seek medical advice if you experience:

  • Response times may vary, but leaders aim to reply within 24–48 hours

6.2 Programme Adjustments

  • Consistency and communication are essential for progress

7. Events Terms
