You've built your base, you've pushed your limits, and now you're ready to take your running to the next level. Whether you're targeting a new personal best, training for a half marathon, marathon, or exploring ultra distances, our Advanced Training Programme is designed for runners who want structured guidance and expert support. This tailored, group-based programme is led by UK Athletics Licensed Run Leader Simone, and is for experienced runners who are ready to challenge themselves with longer distances, higher mileage, or specific race goals. The programme duration and focus will be tailored to your goals — whether that's 12 weeks for a half marathon, 16-20 weeks for a marathon, or ongoing support for ultra distance training.


🌟 What to Expect
You'll be training alongside committed runners who share your ambition and drive. Each week, you'll meet at a designated location (which may vary) for structured sessions led by Simone.
Sessions will include:
Dynamic warm-ups tailored to higher intensity training
Long runs to build endurance and mental toughness
Tempo runs, intervals, and hill work to improve speed and strength
Technique coaching on pacing strategies, fuelling, and race preparation
Recovery runs and active rest guidance
Cool-downs with specific recovery and injury prevention advice
Between sessions, you'll receive a personalised training plan that includes weekly mileage targets, cross-training suggestions, and rest day protocols to help you train smart and stay injury-free.

Beyond Boundaries is named for exactly this: your boundary is not the same as anyone else's. This programme is about discovering what you're truly capable of when you have the right structure, support, and commitment.
👟 What You'll Need
At this level, the right gear matters:
Quality, well-fitted running trainers suited to your gait and mileage
Weather-appropriate technical running clothing
Hydration system (bottles, vest, or belt for long runs)
Nutrition/fuelling strategy for longer distances
A commitment to consistency and recovery
Training will be challenging and progressive. You'll be expected to complete additional runs independently between group sessions, and to prioritise recovery, sleep, and nutrition as part of your training.
💬 Guided by a Licensed Run Leader
Simone Baggaley is a UK Athletics Licensed Run Leader with experience across the full spectrum of running — from beginners to beyond marathon distance. Her approach is focused, knowledgeable, and tailored to helping experienced runners achieve their goals safely and effectively.
You'll receive guidance on advanced pacing strategies, race-day preparation, fuelling plans, tapering, and managing the mental challenges that come with long-distance running. Simone understands what it takes to go the distance — she's been there herself.
